Privacy Policy

Account data: email address, username, profile image (if using OAuth).
Usage data: reading progress, ratings, comments, text suggestions, library saves, notification preferences.
Payment data: processed and stored by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers.
Technical data: IP address, browser user agent (stored with sessions for security).

We use your data to: provide and personalize the reading experience; process payments and manage subscriptions; send notifications about new chapters (with your consent); improve the Platform; and prevent abuse.

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with: Stripe (payment processing), Resend (email delivery), and Cloudflare (hosting and CDN). These providers process data under their own privacy policies.

We use a session cookie (better-auth.session_token) for authentication. We use localStorage for reader preferences (theme, font, size). We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

Account data is retained while your account is active. Reading progress and preferences are retained indefinitely to maintain your reading experience. You can delete your account and all associated data by contacting us.

You have the right to: access your personal data; correct inaccurate data; request deletion of your account and data; export your data; and withdraw consent for notifications at any time.

We protect your data using: encrypted sessions, HTTPS everywhere, secure password hashing (via Better Auth), and role-based access controls. However, no system is 100% secure.

The Platform is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

We may update this policy. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the Platform.
